Visa Free Countries

Many benefits accrue to a person holding second citizenship. The advantage of that secondary passport? It becomes easier to travel, experience other cultures and can often provide easy access to a haven just in case things in the primary county of citizenship go south quick.

As of January 1, 2017, citizens of Vanuatu were provided visa-free access to over 110 nations and territories. A Vanuatuan passport ranks 45th regarding freedom to travel reports the Henley visa restriction index.

A mutual visa waiver was signed between Vanuatu and Schengen Area nations in May 2015, and a similar agreement was approved with Russia in September 2016.

Vanuatu passport owners still need a valid visa to travel to Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Canada, United States, Lebanon, Iraq, New Zealand, Serbia, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates.

Citizens of Vanuatu, including Citizenship Investment Program participants, can travel to these nations with a valid passport. NOTE: Most of the countries require the Vanuatu passport be valid for more than six months:
